Books For Kids (Girls)

Books For Adults
  • We're Friends, Right?: Inside Kids' Culture by William Corsaro. The author enters children's culture as an anthropologist. He analyzes kids' discussions and examines how adults misinterpret children.  A must read for anyone who is ever around the grade school set.
  • Teaching Social Skills to Youth, Second Edition and Jeff Tierney. A book for adults to use with kids. It is for kids who act out of step with other kids, to help them change their behavior. It is a workbook so it is very useful. Example: how to respond to criticism. Ages 10 to 18.
